Great food with an excellent view 👍👍

Taverna Garden is a hidden gem on Poros. Situated a few minutes walk uphill from the harbour you will find this lovely restaurant. It is a quite small restaurant but if you get there before 9pm you should be able to get a table without reservation.

The food is really good especially the traditional greek dishes but they have something for everyone if you want something more international. They have a vast selection of starters and be careful so you don't overeat before your main dish arrives 😁

Great prices and value for money makes this restaurant one of our favourites on Poros. And do try the local wines!

Disappointed by this local restaurant. There are advertisements by the restaurant everywhere you go in this small town and it seems to be visited by many tourists so you have not the smallest expectations.. They serve the typical standard food but not everything was available this day. The taste is below average. Service is below average. This taverna is a good example for restaurants living very well because they have a good location and catch many tourists. If you are running well, your service quality suffers... Legitimately the best lamb I've ever had. Ask for recommendations as the food is seasonal, locally grown vegetables and raised meat from the family farm. Home made yogurt and cheese bases. The prices are unbelievably low. Got a pork chop literally the size of my forearm for 1/5th the price they would be in any major city. We came in a large party, ordered wine and they gave us double servings on the house. All a family owned, family run place based on authentic Greek home recipes. 10/10...
