I recently dined at Oasis Greek Taverna in Poros, and it was a fantastic experience. Located right by the port deck, the taverna offers stunning views of the water and the bustling marina, creating a perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with traditional Greek decor that adds to the charm of the place.
The menu features a delightful array of authentic Greek dishes, each bursting with flavor. I started with the classic Greek salad, which was fresh and vibrant. The moussaka was a standout—rich, hearty, and perfectly cooked. The seafood platter was equally impressive, with fresh, succulent seafood that tasted like it had just been caught.
The service was impeccable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food they were serving. They were more than happy to recommend dishes and provide insights into the local cuisine.
The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the prime location. Dining at Oasis Greek Taverna was a highlight of my visit to Poros. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this taverna is a must-visit for an authentic Greek dining experience. Highly...

A Five-Star Seafood Paradise with Unbeatable Service and Enduring Quality!
Absolutely blown away by my experience at Oasis!!!!
I've loved this place for many years, and the quality is always at a top level.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn't just a meal, but an event.
The octopus, squid, and seabass were truly top of the top—each dish cooked to perfection, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavor. I've had a lot of seafood in my time, but these three stood out as truly exceptional.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was unbelievable. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured every need was met without being intrusive.
And for those arriving by sea, the super cool option of docking right in front of the restaurant is an absolute game-changer. It adds such a unique and convenient touch to an already perfect dining experience.
This is hands down a five-star seafood restaurant that I can't recommend highly enough.

Read moreWas recommended by our hotel but was very disappointed.
It feels like a tourist trap. It's definitely the busiest place along the harbour, taking up 2 shop fronts and I feel people stop there based on it being busy (with yacht crew here for one or two nights) and the waiters actively asking people walking by to come in.
Starters were ok. Octopus in vinegar and stuffed vine leaves. Average up to this point.
Mains were bad. Chose Kleftiko (19 Euro) which was a million miles from Kleftiko. If you are from the UK and go to a chain pub and get a lamb shank in gravy with mashed potatoes that's exactly what I got. I lived in Cyprus so have eaten a fair few Kleftiko.
Also had the grilled prawns. Meh, just that, grilled prawns with a side of chips, very plain and they could of deveined the poo before cooking.
Service was fair to good.
Wouldn't recommend though. Of the 10 evening meals in Greece whilst on holiday, this ranks...
