We highly recommend this taverna which is centrally located on the Boulevard overlooking the beach. This was our favourite choice for our evening meal. The staff were always very helpful, attentive & friendly. The menu which is mostly traditional Greek with a Cypriot influence, is quite varied. Over the week we enjoyed large Greek salad, Horta (wild greens), deep fried sardines, Psariasoupa (fish soup), excellent Kalamari with a light batter, Chicken fillet chef's special, Chicken souvlaki, Veal in the oven, Lamb cooked in the oven. All servings were very generous and served hot usually with a choice of rice or French fries. Half a kilo of house white wine was 6 Euros. Each of our meals with wine, starter & two mains came to...
Read moreThe food is alright but the service is some of the worst I've ever seen. They place a basket of dry bread on our table that we didn't even ask for. We didn't eat any and they took it away. Perhaps you should learn some manners first and then teach them to your waiters. All I asked for is some water while I was waiting. And by the way I ate great to the next door tavern being served...
