Absolutely disgusting experience. DO NOT GO.

We ordered four gyros, and one of them literally had a piece of plastic wrap inside — like the kind used in packaging. We showed it to the guy in charge, and instead of apologizing or even acknowledging the seriousness of it, he laughed sarcastically and said, “It’s nothing, just a piece of plastic.” No apology, no concern, nothing. He acted like it was a joke.

To make things worse, we were still charged for all four gyros. No offer to deduct the one with the plastic, no basic decency or professionalism. And when we asked for the receipt, we were given a temporary order slip, not an official receipt. Sketchy, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable.

This place clearly has no respect for hygiene, responsibility, or customer service. If you care at all about what you’re eating...

Wonderful place!!! I mean, the staff is like family, the service was superb! the food was amazing, they were actually finishing some details for the official opening that day and the machine to pay was still not working, well; Manuel the owner (I hope I remembered well his name), told me not to worry and shake my hand... " enjoy your kebab my friend, no worries about the money but please tell me what you think about the quality of the food..." we left the next day but before i quickly dropped by to say hi and to pay, he did not accept the money just ask; did you like it..? We are coming every year to this grill place and normally we were sitting inside that derelict open space as it was very unique and cosy. Sadly this season they did not open it as we heard. Either way, the food is what matters. And things have gone bad. The portions have decreased and the prices went up. Example the pork neck dish which used to have 3 pieces and now it is 2 with less overall weight. The talagani was 7 euros and it was basically one bite cut in 4 pieces and some pita to justify the price. We also got charged bread and water which we never asked and it seems it has become a standard practise in Gialova replacing the famous "couver". All in all, a let down of a place we used to...
