For many years we have enjoyed drinking our afternoon coffees and after dinner drinks in Methoni's 'Doureios Ippos'. We knew they were going to move to a new location, which is only a few minutes walk away from the old premises. Upon arriving in Methoni this year we were totally amazed at how fantastic the new place looks. The stone building has been beautifully restored retaining all the old features, but with ultra modern facilities. The owner and the staff look completely at home there and they offer the same friendly and professional service. The quality of the food and drink is of the same high standard as before. One of the most iconic places in Methoni and the only "pub"-like place around ! ! ! Staff: The owners are super friendly, they love what they do and it's as transparent as it gets! Food: a good variety of tastes, mostly for snacking or a good meal. My husband and I stopped in here for brunch. The restaurant itself is beautiful with a great patio. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
