Extremely Disappointing Experience

We visited this restaurant today and were unfortunately very dissatisfied overall. There were several serious issues that ruined our visit.

Price Discrepancy: We noticed that the prices on the menu did not match those on the bill. Each dish was 20 to 50 cents more expensive on the bill, which we consider to be an unacceptable business practice.

Disastrous Service: After ordering, we had to wait over an hour. When we asked, we were told that our pizza had been forgotten and wasn't even baked yet. This is simply unacceptable.

Unacceptable Behavior Regarding Drinks:

We had a can of beer with us that we had recently purchased at the supermarket and drank in the restaurant. Although we understood that bringing drinks into the restaurant was not permitted and took this into account for the future, we were charged the beer at a normal restaurant price.

When we offered to pay the price and receive a beer from the restaurant in return, the staff refused. Instead, we were asked to pay the full price without receiving anything in return. This behavior is not only customer-unfriendly, but also completely...

How do I even start?

Eating at this place made me realize how amazing it is to have not only great food but also exceptional customer service.

I was craving some traditional Greek food, and I ended up having the best meal of my entire trip. After visiting Athens and Santorini, I came to Crete as my final stop — and only at Peppers did I find both incredible food and genuinely friendly staff all in one place.

Do yourself a favor and spend some time at Peppers. I wish I knew the name of the waiter who served us — thank you for being so kind and professional.

So this is a super clean super busy super Delicious meat place !!! I did get a cabbage salad it was enormous ! My buddy got the Cesar and so good the feta tasted almost like a blue cheese but still feta....... I got my fav a pork souvlaki pita !!! Just so juicy and he got two skewers of pork in a bed of French fries .... and of course we asked for ketchup !! Great vibe and totally local...
