signed up for the well promoted greek bbq night..was really looking forward to some speciality meat and entertainment with views to die for. this is what we got. a table with legs too short to fit our seats under, which then meant being uncomfortable as we tried to force ourselves under the table or getting nudged every time a waiter had to run past. a bowl of basic salad. 4 quarter slices of pita with dip. followed by a platter of the driest, most flavourless and cheapest meat you can buy. we didnt know what ro expect but I asked and was told a variety of meats...I asked if my daughter could get mostly chicken as she has sensory food issues. the platter was dumped in front of us with fries, 2 pork sausages, 2 pork loins and 2 tiny lamb chops along with 2 very thin chicken legs. as a result my daughter got about 3 mouthfuls of bbq and I had to try and wash my share down with the wine I waited 10 minutes for. I honestly expected something special. more fool me this is a pure tourist trap...calls itself a cocktail bar but could only whip up 2 virgin cocktails and their list had about 10 on it in total.. they didn't offer us sauces or care when we sat without drinks. when we decided to cut our losses I realised id just paid 81 euros for the worst meal of our holiday. they looked at us like idiots when we asked for the bill but to be honest after that so called greek bbq I wasnt willing to give them another cent of my cash. had better bbqs in the rain. id say the entertainment was good and it was, if you're happy...

But someone has to sit there I guess. Flyers has a top bar with a few small tables , then a large lower terrace which stretches away from the bar with many tables. The food suddenly started to served, there was no option.. it was chicken, pork ...and pork (chops and belly potk). There was plenty of it, but their strategy to try to serve all tables at one time meant that all this meat had been precooked, so the pork was dry and chewy. The music and dancing started in the bar area, which meant that 90% of attendees could not see the entertainment. I asked if the dancers would be performing on the lower terrace..but apart from 1 Greek conga, all the action was by the bar, so folks on the lower cliff deck had to leave their tables and try to cram into the v busy upper deck bar to see anything. We had fun yes, and the musicians and dancers were top class entertainment, but Without any lamb or fish options, the €22 euro suddenly didn't seem great value , and some older folks struggled up and down steps to...
Read moreNice place with very gentle waiters and good dishes... And with some "BUTS":
I went there yesterday, the stamp outside the place showed grilled sea bream for 12,50. The menu inside with the price written in pencil showed 14,00. It's a little difference but I asked the waiter if there was a mistake he told me the menu outside complete with pictures was last year's and the leave it outside so customers can see what the can eat there.
No matter what I don't like that kind of incoherence, especially in a touristic environment: it reminds me of scams (at worst) or dilettantes (at best). I had bad experiences in the past. Anyway maybe a minor mistake.
Today I walked in front of the place: the last year's prices were covered with paper adhesive (and that's OK), and a new stamp (with printed prices) was affixed with a 17 price for grilled sea bream!
Again, no matter what I don't like a place where prices changes from one day to another. Maybe it's legally legit but it still reminds me of those two things I've written before. In addition a place where the prices for the same stuff rises from 12.50 to 17.00 from one year to the seems to me its becoming pretty touristic (and not in a positive way).
Not sure if I reccomend it. Service is good and food is good to. Just be aware of prices fallacies. Take a picture at the menu outside...
