LA STRADA — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Very nice and lovely place. Excellent food !! My little daughter and I were everyday for the lunch in this fantastic Taverna. Everything we tried ( Sea Food of course, Fish, Calamari fritti, Moussaka, Pasta, Mussels, Bread, Chicken , Dessert) was sooo delicious ! My daughter is only 5 years old but she has eaten everything with pleasure !! The best restaurant ever !! We can feel the mama is cooking with love and the presentation is also wonderful. Taverne fantastique : ma petite fille et moi nous nous sommes régalés tous les jours. La Strada is a wonderful, family-run restaurant, located directly on the beach with a wonderful view over the sea - both the atmosphere and the service are excellent and we felt incredibly comfortable!

The food is a nice selection of typical Greek dishes.

We had chosen several starters: Dolmades (stuffed vine leaves), zucchini fritters, tzatziki , roast pork cooked with peppers, onion and tomatoes and a gorgeous fish soup that had just been freshly cooked! The latter was made with fresh vegetables and fresh fish (sea bass), both then served separately: the soup on the one hand and the fine fish and vegetables on the other - wonderful 😍 .

Everything is fresh and homemade and the prices are very moderate. We have rarely found this on Rhodes. And whether for lunch or dinner, it's a fantastic place!

Whether as a family, as a couple or with friends, a clear recommendation from me 👌💯! We will definitely be back...

La Strada is amazing home-style cooked Greek food. Came with a large party twice as everyone demanded on going back a second time. The keftedes and souzoukakia are easily the best I've ever had. The grape leaves are extremely fresh and such a good portion of the rice, meat, and leaf. Even though I'm not a moussaka fan, I would eat La Strada's moussaka every day. It was not overwhelmingly eggplant and had a great ratio of meat and a layer of potato that was perfect. There's no beating the view from La Strada, it's basically on the beach. The entire family who were cooking the meal and serving us were so sweet. Always asking how we were doing, suggesting things, getting what we needed, and always checking in on us. Favorite...
