STEFANO FISH TAVERN — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

I have visited this restaurant many times, both with my family and on my own. It’s an excellent restaurant with amazing food, and the staff is impeccable. When I went with my family, we made a reservation and requested a table with a sea view—they seated us right at the front. I’ve also gone alone, even without a reservation, and they seated me at a single table, which is absolutely understandable since there are reservations in such a wonderful place—I completely get it.

I have no words for these people. They are incredible and extremely helpful. I would recommend this place without hesitation. One of the best restaurants in Rhodes. Fresh fish. The grill master is amazing. I met Artemis, a very kind woman who works in the service—she filleted our fish for us several times.

My family had absolutely no complaints, and we continue to visit this restaurant. It’s a family-run business that has been around for 101 years. We met the head of the establishment, Mr. Tsampikos, and his children, Stefanos and Artemis, as I mentioned earlier. We went to Stefano because of the reviews and we weren't disappointed. The food was super delicious (don't mind the bad lighting of the pics, it was a romantic atmosphere 😊❤️).

We had the mixed dip which was great with the pita bread, small fried shrimps which were very nice, calamari and octopus both grilled which were amazingly made, was a bit much for the 2 of us but we didn't regret ordering and trying.

The desert and the hazel nut liquor were a surprise and a very nice finish for the dinner.

We give Stefano 5 out of 5 easily and will recommend it to all of our friends.

Last but not least, the best experience in Stefano wasn't only the food but the waiter that served us, George by his english name (gyorgos by grek) , he is truly one of the kindest most charming souls we had the luck to meet on our trip in rodos. An excellent fish restaurant in Kiotri. The restaurant by the sea has a pleasant atmosphere and a good view, the service was inviting, they let us choose the fish. The first ones were good. And there was one dish that was amazing, a beet salad with pears and walnuts and feta cheese. The dish was 5 stars. The fish arrived and the sous chef filleted us a fish in front of our eyes in a professional and flawless manner. The fish was good and there was a delicious sauce on the side, there was one problem with the fish, it should have been served with vegetables and not potatoes. The dessert came at the house's expense, we couldn't believe it was a dessert, it was kadaif in savosa (semolina cake) and ice cream scoops, the vanilla ice cream was delicious. But the basabusa was very tasty with an orange flavor, the kadaif was ok, a little less good. Overall, the restaurant was very tasty and had a special atmosphere of the sea...
