Little Bastards — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

I am really disappointed and honestly angry about my experience at this pizzeria. I ordered a tuna pizza expecting a classic Italian-style pizza, like the ones I’ve often had in Italy. Instead, what I got was something completely different – almost like raw tuna sashimi on top of the pizza. This was not clearly written on the menu, and since I don’t eat that kind of tuna, I was very surprised and unhappy.

When I politely asked the waiter if this was correct or if there had been some kind of misunderstanding, and whether it would be possible to get a different pizza, I was treated with complete disrespect. The pizzaiolo looked at me in a strange and degrading way, spoke to me harshly, and told me he wouldn’t make another pizza. He was clearly annoyed and even aggressive, throwing things around in the kitchen while preparing other food, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and humiliated.

In the end, I paid 17 euros for a pizza I couldn’t even enjoy – the crust was burnt, the tuna stayed untouched on my plate, and nobody cared. I expected a minimum level of hospitality and a bit of customer service, but instead I felt dismissed and disrespected. In Italy, whenever I didn’t like something, staff always tried their best to help and make sure I left happy. That kind of warmth and hospitality was completely missing here.

Final impression: rude staff, unprofessional service, disappointing food, and zero effort to make the customer feel welcome. Extremely upsetting and I will definitely not return.

ADDED after rude response from the little b…… :) you’re saying I didn’t ask for another pizza. Why else would I come up to you, saying I was surprised and couldn’t eat the pizza? To waste my precious time by talking to you? I doubt that. Besides, you were the one aggressively saying that you wouldn’t put another pizza in the oven, so don’t act like you didn’t understand what I meant. Maybe I misunderstood the menu. But a good restaurant still makes the customer feel welcome and looks for a compromise. Instead, you got defensive in person, and now you’re getting defensive again because of my review. That’s just embarrassing.

I think it is really important that you do some reflective self-work, because degrading people by saying that a pizza is too much for someone is nothing but embarrassing. Grown man, by the way. ALSO, IT IS JUST A PIZZA. Nevertheless, I’m hoping that the other customers will leave a great tip so you will finally be able to afford the psychiatrist.

Having lived on Rhodes for over 30 years it is such a pleasure to have eaten at Little Bastards Pizza. The Italian owner’s have really made a statement with their non traditional choices that are so common on this island! One can actually go and eat pizza, drink organic wines, enjoy Italian cocktails and of course tiramisu!!! The pizza chef has found a way of introducing a menu that is unique but yet has the flavours of the Mediterranean. It is very bold of them to step away from every other pizzeria that exists on Rhodes and choose to use the highest quality ingredients combined with its unique menu. The atmosphere is casual nothing pretentious!! Just really awesome food. Yes, you can takeaway but for me it’s nice to see the two owners in action and enjoy their great food. After a day of swimming and snorkelling, my wife and I thought it would be a good idea to grab dinner, but we wanted something that's not specifically greek, so we went for pizza. Thank god we found this place. The pizza was excelent and to my surprise, the same quality as in Italy. I mean real pizza, not the stuff you eat on the main street.
