GYROS TIME — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Just ate here. When ordering, I asked for Pita Chicken Gyro and was not asked did I want anything else. When the person was making it for me straight away behind the counter, I noticed all the sauces and asked, "Was it possible to get Spicy sauce?" (Before it was fully made) Response from the staff member in a raised and negative tone was "Always the same, why don't you ask for what you want at the start'. This was my second time ordering Gyros in Greece and never here. Apparently, I must be a typical tourist who annoys them then. When getting the food after feeling terrible for that response from her, I said to the initial server that they would want to sort out their process and advise that I need to order items in advance. I am not the problem as a customer asking what was possible and willing to pay for it things which I had asked if that was needed. The other member spoke up again and said that it's on the sign to pick your ingredients. We looked, and there it was, on the menu. I have tried to highlight it in green. It looks like a line. Seriously!!!!!!!! It's a pity because the food was good. Feel sorry for the person. The process is not working. The person taking the order needs to ask these questions, and management needs to ensure this is done better for us all. Here for 3 days so far and the first negative experience in Rhodes, as everything else was so...

The young Man at the cash register started to discuss with my wife because she asked for a little bit tzaziki for her Fries. I asked him why he makes such a Drama and he told me because we need to pay extra for the tzaziki. Of course i paid immediately for the tzaziki but why he needs to make such a Drama? He could just tell us that we need to pay extra and thats it. 😂 Dont do the Job if you dont like it! Not worth it! I dont recomend this...

Chicken Gyros Pitta was nice, asked for large fries and two drink's also but he only acknowledged half of my order. Server looked at me like I was a massive inconvenience even though I was spending money and spoke politely (unlike the previous customer) so only received half of my order and felt so uncomfortable the whole time. Such a shame, won’t return for the rest...
