I recently visited Ifigeneia Souvlaki based on a friend’s enthusiastic recommendation, hoping for a great meal. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite meet those expectations. The yogurtlu kebab was too sour and over-charred for my taste. The dakos, which I was excited to try, felt off due to the addition of mint, which didn’t complement the dish’s classic simplicity. The grilled mushroom skewer also had an unexpected flavor, possibly from the oil used, which wasn’t to my liking.

I came in with high hopes—the place has a lovely ambiance—but unfortunately, the service fell far short. I simply asked about the ingredients in the marinade to understand my options due to dietary concerns. Instead of a helpful response, the manager refused to take responsibility, speaking dismissively about me to his staff rather than addressing me directly. The food is very good quality, but if you are looking for the experience then this is not the best choice for you, The tastes are good, the place looks amazing but it really needs sorting out of the personnel and their attitude towards the customer,
