Totally full of it. Tried to rent a pedal boat for my kid, they told me that the one and only guy who can handle it is out until later. Fine. Later we come back and the guy is just hanging out in the water. The guy from the café says that the boat guy told him that the police said he can't rent anymore because of the wind. It's not windy now nor is the forecast for wind until overnight. When I questioned it he told me that I always have an answer for everthng but they can't do it. I called another place in platis giallos (bloomarine) and the person there said that of course they are open, but will be closed tomorrow because of the wind. Which makes sense. These guys at Bolab are I assume doing something illegal and unsafe if the police told them not to rent. That's at best. At worst they are just rude liars. Also for what it's worth, at the cafe the food is not very good. Stay away. There are plenty of reputable operators and good cafes on Sifnos. This isn't one.
They are just a garbage company.
Edit: Not a half hour later as we were leaving the beach we could see that they had rented out at least one of the boats. So their response to this review - that there were dangerous winds in the forecast and they were being safety conscious - is patently a lie. Either that or they were willing to endanger the lives of other people's kids even as they gallantly protected mine. Draw your own...

After seeing the reply from the business owner to Clarify I was not the man having breakfast this was our experience.
Sorry mate that's not me who had breakfast. We were the couple who came in to watch Formula 1 on Sunday and your staff didn't want to even check to see if you had the channel. Watch the footage of your staff ignoring us and my partner having to go up and order drinks while your staff sat there giggling and doing nothing. We had 8 friends who were going to come down and probably drink 6 or so drinks each to watch the race.
Also as a business owner that's a disgusting reply to...
Read moreI was told off in an ironic way by the waitress to stop eating my pie that I had bought earlier from a local bakery and I was not even seated in the restaurant but in the cafeteria area . What bothered me was the ironic way of the waitress as if I was doing something bad that I should also be aware off, very unprofessional and also I do not get it why I was not allowed to eat my pie since I was already seated in the cafeteria and had bought by that time one orange juice, one bottle of water (usually in Greece the water is offered for free in the cafeterias but here I had to pay for it ) and...
