Idroussa — Restaurant in Municipality of Sifnos

Stunning location with beautiful views over the water. We were lucky to snag a table for a late lunch, as the place was packed.

We started with a selection of appetizers, including the fried cheese with honey and sesame seeds, the battered zucchini and aubergine and the taramasalata. All were absolutely delicious.

Next, we had the grilled octopus, which we paired with the rest of the taramasalata, the chicken souvlaki, and a fresh green salad. Everything was perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh.

Wonderful traditional Greek taverna with incomparable view of Vathi bay. We have been coming to Vathi every year for many years - and this restaurant is our very favorite. Located right next to the beach, you sit by the water with an incredible view of the bay. The warmth of the owners Janni and Katarina and the consistently great quality of the delicious traditional Greek food make every visit a joyful experience. This place has the best spinach pies I've ever had, we returned the following day to this beach just to have those awesome pies again. Service is really quick and they serve draft beers. Pork souvlaki is also great here.

The place has a lovely cat too, but in case you don't like cats he can be taken away. He didn't bother us at all, he meowed once towards the end of the meal when we were clinking our cutlery as if we were...
