Casa La Creme — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

I travelled around the world and I’ve never experienced anything quite like this! We were last clients of the day and we came for good reviews about their mousaka! Unfortunately mousaka was sold out and we ordered instead a pastitsio and bougiourdi. The pastistio was dry, just some spaghetti with very little mince meat. The bougiourdi super spicy (I know it should be a little spicy, but this was on a different level). My partner didn’t eat his pastitsio and I used it (partially) to make my bougiourdi more edible. We politely said to the waiter (owner?) that the food is unfortunately not very good, not because we didn’t want to pay, but because it’s our right as customers to express our feedback. He got so angry that he literally started to scream at us and smashed a plate on the table right in our face, asking with incredible anger: “Why you ate then? “, like we were trying to eat and not pay. The woman from the kitchen started to shout from far out, not sure if at us or him. We asked that we will pay, but he kicked us out swearing at us, almost beating up my partner. We left shaken by the experience. Only after I’ve read here that other people experienced same aggressive attitude. By the way, dear waiter/ owner, if you read this, please send me your bank account details, we still owe you money for the beer and free water you kindly gave us. An absolute no go for the second time. We ordered a stuffed squid that was extremly chewy and tasteless. Very politely I said that such a thing is not eatable and instead of aplogies i received a disclaimer in a vey angry and disrespectful manner that i don't know what i am talking about and there is no way that squid is chewy and after all, they made us a favour taking the order right before they closed the kitchen. The second dish was a 'shrimp in the pan' that was rather a soup - shrimps in a very watery sauce. It had a good taste in the end but if you expect to receive a portion of shrimps in a thick souce with feta you'll be disappointed of what you get. My experience was much worse then one would expect with so many stars on Google. A simple traditional greek food as "Shrimps saganaki" was unrecognizable. We was given something like a shrimp soup or better said like the water used to clean a pot used to make a shrimp soup. Evidently the chef of the place is cooking all the time grilled meat or so and forgot how to cook traditional greek stewed food. I can understand that for a place located near the beach.
