I had the pleasure of trying some Greek street food, and it was absolutely delightful! I tried both the pita with halloumi and the gyros pita, and they were both delicious.
The pita with halloumi was a delightful blend of flavors. The halloumi cheese was perfectly grilled to a golden brown, and its salty and slightly tangy taste was simply mouthwatering. The soft pita bread complemented the halloumi perfectly, and the addition of fresh vegetables and a drizzle of tangy tzatziki sauce made it an absolute treat.
As for the gyros pita, it was a true taste sensation. The tender and flavorful strips of gyro meat were skillfully combined with juicy tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and a generous dollop of creamy tzatziki sauce. All these ingredients were wrapped in a warm, soft pita bread, creating a heavenly combination of textures and flavors.
The street food experience itself added to the enjoyment. The bustling atmosphere and the aromas of the food being prepared right in front of me created a sense of authenticity and excitement.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Greek street food I tried. Both the pita with halloumi and the gyros pita were satisfying and left me craving for more. If you ever get a chance to try Greek street food, I highly recommend it. It's a mouthwatering adventure that you...
Read moreThe staff, to be more precise a man with long hair and beard who appears to be a manager (or maybe even the owner), is rude without restrain or interest for the customer.
He expressed rudeness when asked for additional menus for guests who were about to join us at our table, and ultimately refused to do so. When delivering the food to the table (several burgers) he literally dropped the dishes onto the table by saying "burgers", without indicating what was what, just leaving to us to find out.
The food is average, nothing special for the area or for Greek food in general. Their burgers, despite having some interesting ones in terms of ingredients, are assembled in a way that makes them hard to eat, and result in a messy plate. Prices are low.
We have witnessed rude behavior expressed also towards other customers.
This place survives mostly thanks to the low prices, but it is true that "you pay what you get".
I also suggest anyone with children, or moderately sensitive to smoke, to avoid this place, as customers seems to be on average heavy smokers (we were surrounded by tables of smokers, making the dining even less comfortable).
It goes without saying that we will never go to this...
Read moreSlow service and not so good food. The only thing that looked good was the avocado salad our neighbours had, with large pieces of avocado, but it was the last one left, so we didn't get to try it.
We had souvlaki, fig salad and beef chops. Portions are large, but the quality was sub par. My beef in particular was tough, heavy - the lamb itself didn't look to have been too young. I literally couldn't eat the whole portion, it was way too heavy. The salad with fig was large and covered in a dressing that seems to be popular around here - a very sweet sauce.
The service was very, very slow. The restaurant was full and the few waiters (I think they were three) couldn't come often. Had to ask for water thrice before getting that order.
Expected more from the reviews, but was disappointed. Also - zero Garlic in any...
