In general: We order a portion of "mpifteki gemisto with tyri" which is burger filled with cheese. The portion came with a tasty pumpkin and sweet potato purre, lettuce salad, paprika sauce and a slice of fresh lemon. The flavours were really strong reminiscent of those from Little Asia now known as the seaside of Turkey in the Aegean sea. That is because Sarti is populated mostly from people who used to be refugees of the population movement back in 1925! Back to our lunch though: The food was made with high quality and fresh ingredients. The flavours were also strong and smelled wonderfully. Location: The restaurant is placed in a wonderful location that felt out of this world: as if you have gone for a swim at a beach on the Moon. The Greek Summer Sun and the refreshing air breeze help towards an ever soothing and tranquiling experience. The name of the restaurant "Ta Vraxakia" mean "The little rocks". Staff: The staff there is very polite, helpful and friendly. Panos is also an eye candy to watch with his honey coloured eyes and Greek physique! But seriously though all of the staff is amazing, full with energy and positive vibes! Prices: Prices are cheap. I know that in Sarti the prices at "Ta Vraxakia" might be one of the most expensive ones but you pay what you get and in some other occasions you don't even get what you pay. In at "Ta Vraxakia" restaurant you pay for well prepared meals with high quality ingredients at normal prices. for reals it is not expensive and it is nowhere near the prices of Mykonos, Santorini etc highly recommended: five stars Photos: The small rocky beach that opens up in a more sandy beach to the right or a hill to the left with a secluded beach you can swim there (one minute swimming). Do note though that the water might be deeper when you go to the left than what it is to the right. Our stuffed beef burger plate and the restaurant. Highly...
Read moreLooked like a lovely place by the beach really nice view. Walked it and waiters not friendly. Don’t even have butter to spread on bread. No table water. Every restaurant I been to in Greece brought us table water. Waving to get attention of the waiters and no joy and had to stand up to get their attention. We did not even finish starters and they brought main courses out. Some people had food while others waited. Waiters not taking away empty plates after starters and the main course so the table was cluttered no place to put the main course. We finished our food and the plates remained on our tables for at least about minimum 30 min and we had to ask to get the table cleared. Not even asked how the food was. To the food. It was not bad. Pork and chicken Souvlaki was tasty but Lukewarm. Moussaka same was tasty but lukewarm. Mixed sea food was ok the prawns were overcooked but the whitebait and the calamari was nice. Did not even have mastiha. Tables really close together so felt packed like sardines. Overall we came here expecting nice time and without nice welcome or a decent service affected our mood celebrating our...
Read moreI do need to submit a very negative review for the new boss (son of the old boss's) professional behavior. We visited the restaurant today to enjoy their delicious but expensive dishes. Beware of the young boss that took over the management and serves as the main waiter: Doesn't know how to behave to a customer.
Approaches the table too early to take the order just after the table is been laid and menu is revised !!! Very unprofessional pressing and money greeding behaviour.
Forgets to order dishes: my little one (8 year old) ordered a fish dish and a portion of fries, today.
Not only he forgot to order it but after 25 minutes of waiting I firmly remarked him he answered in a totally unprofessional way challenging my order and giving silly excuses that the fish needs to be cleaned and then cooked !!!!
We do know Mister how long a fish need to be prepared !!!
He has a totally plastic way to take away your money without providing proper services for this traditional fish...
