Unauthentic! Honestly, the worst tavern we’ve been to in the 7 days we travelled through this part of Greece. The smoked eggplant tasted so smokey/burnt that we could not eat more than few bites. THE GREEK SALAD? That’s not greek, barely any olive oil, what’s with the big chunks of the tomatoes and why the crinkle cut on the cucumbers? Our main food also was disappointing, for 17 EUR I did not get anything for the octopus tentacle and we always got a side in other places.. not to mention, it was super expensive as in other places and they put a lot of vinegar that I could not enjoy it.. The best place in Sarti! I don’t even know where to start—everything was absolutely amazing. Despite how busy it was, the service was outstanding: so kind and attentive. The food was incredible, and the atmosphere unforgettable. We were also celebrating a birthday, and the singer performed a special song just for her, which made the night even more memorable. He sang for more than three hours and was still going strong when we left! The selection of Greek songs was fantastic, keeping everyone dancing. Our family had one of the best nights in Greece—thank you for making it so special!

A lovely tavern in Sarti with traditional Greek cooking and homey atmosphere. We dined there during our last few days in Sarti, and their musaka tasted just like my grandma's. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our recommendations are musaka paired with tzatziki, smyrna meatballs, sfakian and pastirma pie paired with eggplant dip, zucchini flowers stuffed with rice and dolmadakia.
