The night started out positive even though we waithed a bit for out appetizers, but the athmosphere was nice, so no problem there. The appetizers were lovely, so we thought it was gonna be a good night. The main course was really bad. I had the shrimp tagliattelle and the owner told me in advance that the shrimp was fresh (I will have to clean the shell myself but I told him it was no problem as I've had pasta like this before). When the dish arrived it was bad from the start, it still smelled slightly like it was uncooked, definetelly not like garlic or tomato sauce(it was covered in it). I started to clean it and it was strange that the shell came off on some quite hard, and in one instance after I removed the head, there way this grey substance that came out if the shrimp. I said I was paranoid, tried the meat and it seamed cooked, but after I mixed the meat with the sauce and the pasta, the taste was off, to be honest it tasted like swamp water or something similar. At the end of the meal we told the server about the dish, he smelled it and said it smelled like shrimp (did not agree that it still smelled a little like...
Read moreThe restaurant is very nice and located in a beautiful spot, but unfortunately there are many shortcomings when it comes to service and speed, and I was also very disappointed with the lamb chops.
We sat down and ordered drinks, which we only received after half an hour. The food arrived after an hour and a half, which is highly unprofessional. Nobody gave us any explanation for the delay, but we decided to wait just to see how long it would actually take. There were three of us – my wife, my son, and myself. Their meals were okay, nothing more than that, but my lamb chops were terrible – very small, as if they came from a lamb of barely 10 kg, tough, and absolutely undercooked.
On top of that, the owner was quite annoying – very pushy, talking too much and disturbing the guests. I honestly don’t have a single good word for this restaurant. I don’t think I will ever go back, though that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try it yourself. I just had a very bad experience, but maybe yours will be...
Read moreSurprisingly good place. Now when you see a restaurant in the middle of a tourist place with the waiter catching you off the street you might think it's another tourist trap. I kid you not - it's not a tourist trap it's a very nice restaurant! waiter was nice indeed he caught us straight off the street with his Greek smile and hospitable attitude. menu was typical for the tourist town with a modern twist. We had the vegetables mille feuille which were quite nice. Also the black Angus meat balls were impressively tasty and good. The feta kadaif was our favorite thing we tried - feta wrapped in noodles with honey. Crispy on the outside soft on the inside salty yet sweet - you must try.
the servise was nice our waiter spoke English German and Greek effortlessly which to me was quite impressive and he kept his smile at all the time.
Let's not forget the free shots of home made ouzo and the rivani...
