What a charming place! With an even more charming owner. Spiros feels very much like the heart and soul of the little town of Mochlos. His prime position front and centre, edging the waves as they cross cross past the island in close reach of your dining table. The food here is lovingly prepared and among the best you’re going to find on Crete. We were passing by this morning, two days having eaten there and he called me and my Daughter over to give us as many freshly harvested grapes straight from his garden. You just do not see this genuine hospitality and welcome anywhere not least the UK. We could all learn a little and do a lot with this way of life and attitude towards outsiders. Das Ambiente ist Großartig, Lage direkt am Meer in einer kleinen Bucht, das einzige worüber man sich beschweren könnte wären die Sitzmöglichkeiten die auf meine Begleitpersonen sehr unbequem wirkten aber mir ist das nicht aufgefallen. Der Service ist super Freundlich und schnell gewesen, und wir wurden sogar auf deutsch angesprochen was mir sehr positiv aufgefallen ist. Das Essen war extrem schnell da und hat sehr gut geschmeckt, empfehlen kann ich die Weinblätter, tzatziki und das Gyros. Ansonsten wechseln die Gerichte anscheinend von Tag zu Tag was auch ein Pluspunkt ist. Getränke sind preiswert mit 2,8€ für Softdrinks 0,33l und Regionalem Wein mit 6€ für 0,5l. Brot war sehr viel mitinbegriffen und wurde sogar nochmal aufgefüllt. Die Pommes waren selbstgemacht aber leider nicht lange genug frittiert das sie wirklich knusprig sind und leider werden sie deswegen auch schnell „labbrig“. Ausgegeben haben wir knapp 18 Euro pro Person obwohl wir zwei Vorspeisen, ein großes Wasser und einen 0,5l Wein hatten. Insgesamt netter Laden den ich jedem Empfehlen kann der in der Nähe vorbeifährt alles extrem preiswert und man fühlt sich willkommen, und isst authentisch. insgesamt für mich definitiv eine 5-Sterne Bewertung ohne...

The food was amazing. I had the gyros. The plate was so full of meat and the fries were freshly cut and fried; nothing frozen! The man who served us (owner?) was the most friendly person. He was awesome!
