If you’re in Crete and looking for a true taste of Greek dessert heaven, this place is an absolute must-visit. Their galaktompoureko is, without a doubt, the best I have ever had. The custard is velvety and rich, wrapped in perfectly crisp layers of golden phyllo, with just the right amount of syrup to make each bite melt in your mouth without being overly sweet.

The loukoumades are equally unforgettable. Light, airy, and generously drizzled with honey, with a hint of cinnamon that makes them irresistible.

To top it all off, the local yogurt with fresh fruit is a refreshing treat. The yogurt is fresh and local with thick, creamy, and full of flavour, paired beautifully with seasonal fruits that taste like they have just been picked.

It is no wonder this place is famous. Everything here tastes like it is made with love and the freshest local...

I might be a little biased since this is my favorite place in Sitia for breakfast and coffee, but then again there has to be a reason that this is my favorite place for breakfast and coffee. Delicious coffee, good range of options for drinks altogether (hot chocolate, tea, juice, etc) and a lovely selection of breakfast snacks to try out. Also hands down the best loukoumades in the universe. Service has always been friendly and professional. A+ and I wish them all the best.

A general warning for Americans (being one myself), things will be less sweet everywhere here because the states basically go wild with sugar and corn syrup and Greece does not. Never assume a coffee comes sweetened, but they do bring...

We ordered 4 items. None of it came at the same time. First my husband got his donuts, and I just sat there stirring. Then my toast came and now he was just sitting and waiting while I ate. For last, we both ordered waffles. Hopefully we would get it at the same time, but I got mine first. And almost 5-8 min later he got his waffle. We came to eat together, not to look at each other eating separately…. You would think that two waffles will be served at the same time?
