✅ Fairly expensive, good views with nice food and an amiable host who tried to accommodate all. This is certainly not the 5 star rave reviews from other people on here claiming "the best food in Corfu" but this is a lot better than the restaurants serving food in the main town that's for sure. If that is the comparison for those reviewers, then this place deserves a Michelin Star. ✅The value is more than some of the other restaurants in town but you pay for the view (which is amazing). The food is excellent and almost as good as the village taverna (in my opinion) but almost double the price. ✅The service is very good. ✅I think this restaurant suits couples and adults more than a child friendly environment although they are friendly and will accommodate everyone. ❌🚬 They have smoking tables throughout the restaurant (welcome to the 1980's) and you could get stuck next to people that smoke throughout your meal which is completely rough and could put you off your food. I don't understand this in 2020. ❌I can't understand why people smoke in between courses?! This was a minus for me but not the restaurants fault...

We came to Corfu towards the end of the season however the 2 best restaurants in town were 2 that were still open and both excellent and well worth visiting. Bella Vista is a short walk up a hill but once you get there the views of Moraitika Beach on the mainland of Greece were spectacular.
Aside from the view, the food was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. Laura had the marinated octopus for a starter and stifado as a main course. I had (photos included) the grilled feta, although it was more baked with onions, peppers and herbs followed by the kleftiko.
The second visit Laura had the grilled Feta to start and the Swordfish for a Mai course, I had the meatballs followed by the Stifado. All really good dishes.
Such a great restaurant, lovely food and great staff. Honestly make the effort to visit if you can.
NB the photo of the view I took earlier in the day when I went to look at the restaurant and it is through the restaurant courtyard to the sea.
NBB the panoramic photo was taken on our second visit. Out of season if you want to watch the sun set you need to be...
Read moreThis was not only the best food we had in Corfu, this was the best greek-cuisine restaurant we had in Greece. They are somewhat more expensive than fast foods you can find in Moraitika main street, but the quality just can't be compared - this is proper restaurant, with proper cooking, while everything in the main street is dipped in overused and overfried oil. Everyone was super friendly, I can't remember the last time I saw staff trying this hard to give the best possible experience. We tried several different dishes and everything was great. Restaurant has great view on Moraitika, the view itself is worth visiting. I'll add pictures when we return from the trip, and we'll surely visit this restaurant again while we are in Moraitika.
Edit: we've went today again, I'll add a few pictures. Today I tried the best dish I had in Greece, ever. Restaurant is just a hidden gem. Just visit it if you are in...
