Josp — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

Hungry after the beach we stumbled into this flawlessly rated place, long story short - not worth a visit. The atmosphere is sterile, there are some open fridges on the top balcony, it's difficult to get waiters attention from up top swirly stairs. Our drinks arrived unopened, so I had to open them myself with the knife. Ordered pork souvlaki and pepperoni pizza. Received chicken souvlaki. Had back and forth with the owner if it was chicken souvlaki, until the chef admitted it was indeed chicken souvlaki. We decided to keep souvlaki not to bother the staff. The pizza dough is bakery type, not soft but crunchy all the way, toppings are good though. Found pink chicken, which is almost always the sign of poisoning. At that point we just wanted to leave. The owner did seem uncomfortable and tried all the ways of apologizing, I give him that, but you just can't mess with people's food. The line must be drawn somewhere. We dined in Enjoy for a late lunch of burger and chips. The food was okay, nothing spectacular, unfortunately we were joined by two filthy cats that were crawling with insects and as I have a phobia of cats we payed the bill and left immediately. A few days later my husband was poorly and couldn't leave our apartment so we ordered stifado and chips as a takeaway, it was very nice. The following evening I needed a takeaway service again so we ordered moussaka for us both. Part of mine was cold so decided to eat the part that was hot, cut it in half to discover that it was frozen in the middle, really not acceptable. If it hadn't been so hot I'd have taken it back as that's dangerous to serve food like that. Have been here in july with my boyfriend. We ate delicious food and were met by very friendly staff. BUT NOT HERE. On the first day of vacation we went for a snack and this place seemed acceptable. But as soon as we sat down and met the staff we were completely upset. We were the only visitors at that time. But we were not prepared for the fact that three pairs of eyes were looking at us so intently. While we had just started eating and my boyfriend was sitting with his mouth full, the waitress came up and thrust the check right under his nose. I didn't want to eat anything after that.
