Barrio — Restaurant in Municipality of Syros and Ermoupoli

We sat down, ordered food and cocktails. (The food was late and not very nice) The cocktails had no alcohol at all. We expressed our complaint to the waitress and asked her to either replace them or add more alcohol. From the moment we expressed our displeasure an endless couscous started in front of us and in a completely nasty way (by the owner and the waitresses), we understood their irony from their expressions. And the most unacceptable fact was that the one waitress, not over 19 years old, came and asked why we ordered another drink when we didn't like it and mocked us. In any other serious supermarket, this girl would have been fired as she went to ask for the reason while the store manager had already spoken. Indulgently unacceptable. Don't prefer it.

Απαράδεκτη συμπεριφορά τόσο από τον ιδιοκτήτη, όσο και από τις σερβιτόρες. Καθίσαμε, παραγγείλαμε φαγητό και cocktail. (Το φαγητό άργησε και δεν ήταν πολύ ωραίο) Τα cocktail δεν είχαν καθόλου αλκοόλ. Εκφράσαμε το παράπονο μας στη σερβιτόρα και ζητήσαμε είτε να μας τα αντικαταστήσει, είτε να μας προσθέσει παραπάνω ποσότητα αλκοόλ. Από τη στιγμή που εκφράσαμε τη δυσαρέσκεια μας ξεκίνησε ένα ατελείωτο κους-κους μπροστά μας και με άσχημο τρόπο εντελώς (απο το ιδιοκτήτη και τις σερβιτόρες), καταλαβαίναμε την ειρωνεία τους από τις εκφράσεις τους. Το δε, πιο απαράδεκτο γεγονός, ήταν πως η μία σερβιτόρα, πάνω από 19 χρονών δεν ήταν, ήρθε και ζήτησε τον λόγο που παραγγείλαμε και άλλο ποτό ενώ δεν μας άρεσε και μας ειρωνεύτηκε. Σε κάποιο άλλο σοβαρό πάντα μαγαζί, η κοπέλα αυτή θα είχε απολυθεί καθώς πήγε να ζητήσει τον λόγο ενώ είχε ήδη μιλήσει ο υπεύθυνος του μαγαζιού. Επιεικώς απαράδεκτοι. Μην το...

We hired Barrio for our 10th wedding anniversary party and were looked after exceptionally well.

The building is beautiful, modern and cool. From the friendliness of their staff, to the cocktails and buffet - we were incredibly impressed and grateful. We danced to some good tunes and requests made to their DJ too.
