Chef 2 Chef was the best conclusion to our stay in Thessaloniki. From the moment we were greeted by the warm smile of Mr. Andronikidis, we knew we were in for a special evening. He explained that the restaurant was brand new, and his passion for their concept, a modern twist on traditional Greek cuisine, was immediately evident as he guided us through the menu.

Our server, Ksenia, was an absolute delight. My father and I are vegetarian, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had plenty of delicious options. With her expert recommendations, we decided to share a feast of starters: the trio of mushrooms, the potato variations, the beetroot salad, the fried zucchini and leek balls, and the Bouyiourdi (a baked cheese dish). Each dish was more exquisite than the last, a true testament to the chef's creativity and skill. My mother, a devoted carnivore, couldn't resist the meatballs, which she declared the best she'd ever tasted!

Throughout the evening, Sarantis, checked in to make sure everything was perfect. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the elegant atmosphere and presentation of each dish to the genuine warmth of the staff.

Πριν από μερικές μέρες, επισκεφτήκαμε το εστιατόριο με το αγόρι μου. Οι πρώτες εντυπώσεις ήτανε αρκετά θετικές. Ζεστός χώρος, προσεγμένος, με ωραία αισθητική. Μας εξυπηρετήσανε 2 σερβιτόροι. Ο κύριος, αρκετά ευγενικός και διακριτικός. Η νεαρή κοπέλα, εν αντιθέσει, περισσότερο αγχωτική παρά βοηθητική, ως παρουσία. Έπειτα από λίγα λεπτά, καταλήξαμε στις επιλογές μας. Σαλάτα αμβροσία, μπουγιουρντί ως ορεκτικό και 2 κυρίως πιάτα. Σνίτσελ χοιρινό - που ήτανε και πρόταση του σεφ, και παραδοσιακά κεφτεδάκια. Όλα τα πιάτα ήρθανε άμεσα, γεγονός αρκετά θετικό. Οι απόψεις μας στην διάρκεια του γεύματος ωστόσο, όχι τόσο. Η σαλάτα, αν και νόστιμη, αρκετά στεγνή. Χωρίς ιδιαίτερη γεύση. Επίσης, τα 3 κομμάτια μανούρι, μειώνουν την εικόνα του πιάτου, ποσοτικά. Συνεχίσαμε με το μπουγιουρντί, το οποίο είχε και το μεγαλύτερο ως πιάτο. Αρχικά, ήτανε έντονη η γεύση του αυγού. Ενός βασικού υλικού, το οποίο όμως, δεν αναφέρεται πουθενά στο μενού. Το θεωρήσαμε απαράδεκτο και το αναφέραμε, σκεπτόμενοι ότι πρέπει να διορθωθεί άμεσα, λόγω τυχών αλλεργιών. Τα πιάτα που αδιαμφισβήτητα ευχαριστηθήκαμε ήτανε τα 2 κυρίως. Τόσο το σνίτσελ όσο και τα κεφτεδάκια, ήτανε εξαιρετικά ψημένα, γευστικά στο σύνολο τους και ικανοποιητικά ποσοτικά.
