Today we visited Mr. Ali’s place, Pites tis Polis, for breakfast. When we saw that there was a “serpme kahvaltı” (traditional Turkish-style breakfast spread), my wife asked what we could order without causing waste, and we decided to go for it.

On our table we had: • Sucuk (Turkish sausage), • Kavurma with eggs and cheese, • Feta cheese, • Freshly sliced tomatoes, • Delicious butter and homemade fig jam.

All of these were served with unlimited, perfectly brewed tea, which made the whole experience simply delightful.
