Mototi Beach Lounge — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

Recommended. We were at Mototi Beach Lounge from 1:30pm - 4:30pm. The Manager greeted us warmly, and rather than telling us there was a minimum €40 spend, simply asked “Do you know how this works?” We did, and as we were there for lunch and cocktails, knew that was an easy spend. Our first cocktails arrived within 10-15mins of being seated in our beach loungers. There was no issue with us requesting our chicken club sandwiches with fresh bread, rather than toasted. The only reason I scored 4 instead of 5 for food is because the egg was slightly undercooked, for my personal liking. Chilled music, not too loud, just nice background. Good service, great cocktails, lovely afternoon, and we’ll probably return tomorrow. Thanks Mototi Beach Lounge Staff! 😁

We were here mid October short before season end - some of the other beach bars / restaurants were already closed for the season. We wanted to spend the day at the Perissa beach (we were staying in Kamari, but disappointed by the beach there) which has some fine black sand and easy entrance into the water. Chose Mototi and were not disappointed. They have loungers and cabanas for use (at this time, no minimum buy for the loungers as long as you order, but 80 EUR for the cabanas, which is not a bad deal if you are more than a couple). The service was very friendly, the facilities clean, and the water was warm and inviting. Mototi Beach Lounge was one of the highlights of our time in Santorini! Mihali, the owner, made us feel so welcome — his hospitality and kindness truly made for an amazing day. You can tell he genuinely cares about every guest’s experience.

We booked a front-row cabana right on the beach, and it was perfect — it came with fresh towels, cold water, and a super stylish bean bag chair that made lounging by the sea extra comfortable. The setup felt luxurious but was very reasonably priced, which made it even better.

The beach vibe was relaxed yet elevated, with great music, chilled drinks, and a peaceful atmosphere that made us want to stay all day. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a laid-back, beautiful beach day with warm service and great value. Can’t wait...
