We have eaten here 3 out of the 4 nights we have been on this beautiful island. Located on the beach at Perissa / Perivolos, the restaurant is owned by a lovely family, led by Dad Daniel. He is a great character. After a lovely meal on our first night, we were paying and he ‘made’ us drink Raki shots with him. Then said tomorrow sunbeds and umbrella were free for us. Standard charge being at least €10 each bed all along this lovely beach. We ate there again the next night and Daniel said we were now friends and to never pay for a sunbed! After our meal him and his family sat with us and we had (free) Greek craft beer and Santorini wine. They were great company. Menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. We have particularly enjoyed Beef stifado, moussaka, huge tuna salad, Greek salad and Sole. The big souvlaki is a challenge too far, a huge plate of mixed meat. Sunbeds are very comfortable. Waiter service on the beach all day. This place helped make the holiday...
Read moreReally disrespectful staff. We were looking for a place to eat by the beach and accidentally walked through this restaurant, not realizing We did. They told us it was private and to get off. All we said was “oh sorry” because we didnt realise and this young girl started mimicking us going “oh oh oh” we were shocked and just kept staring at them when an elderly man came up to us saying “whats your problem?? Whats your problem!???” And a young guy who said “you dont speak our language, go away” We’re truly baffled. We've been treated nothing but great by folks of greece and to suddenly get spoken to like this out of nowhere for not realising we had stepped on private property is absurd. Truly the rudest people.
Their restaurant is super empty so im not surprised their hostile attitude leaves them without customers. All the surrounding restaurants were filled with people except them. All the comments saying theyre...
Read moreSharing our best experience at this family run restaurant headed by Danny, his wife as the cook and his 2 sons helping in the restaurant. We were treated well like an old time friends with their unbelievable hospitality and friendship. The food is excellent and generous portion, reasonable priced and drinks was of good selection. My husband has been introduced to the local beer that he enjoyed. We can't fault the service with smile.....nothing is too small for them. We also had the use of the shade on the beach which was handy otherwise you have to pay €15 for the day. We would like to thank the family for looking after us with few free drinks too especially on our last day. It's a restaurant we can truly recommend when you are around the area. Hope to revisit Santorini again. Happy and contented customers from England. ....Connie & Brian (from Sept...
