At first sight, this place is beautiful with great décor and views. Unfortunately, after waiting 40 minutes for our entrée, grilled octopus which was burnt and tough, things went downhill from there. We went to this place with a tour so we had limited time. For mains, we ordered the grilled sea bass and Greek pasta with truffle oil. After the entrée arrived, I asked if mains were ready. The waitress informed us it is ready but quickly came by to say it'll be three minutes. We waited about 15 minutes before mains arrived and the waitress just mentioned there was something wrong with the oven without being apologetic. Not really sure why it was just our dishes that had issues while everyone else got their orders. The mains were alright but there was barely any truffle taste/aroma to it. There were also a lot of mushrooms in the dish but no mention of it on the menu (I don't eat mushrooms). The grilled fish was supposed to come with vegetables. After quickly stuffing our hungry and disappointed faces with food, we went to the counter to pay. We asked about the missing vegetables and were simply told "the menu has changed, two days ago now" as if we were supposed to know. When I questioned further (why wasn't the written menu updated), the waitress complained there were too much to do, not even bothering to apologise. At that point we just wanted to get out and spend the remaining 10 minutes looking at the beach which everyone else on our tour has already had the chance to do. We really should have walked out after the terrible entrée. Please do yourselves a favour and...
Read moreMany beach clubs to choose, EAT and enjoy on the right one!
The beautiful island of Santorini offers many beautiful spots for sunsets, dining and party. The black beach of perivolos and perisa is a 3km beach of black volcanic sand and here are many beach bars to choose from. Aegean Safran has the best food of all. Traditional Greek plates with a modern fusion twist! Great list of wines. Fantastic service and of course all he expected amenities of a Mediterranean beach club. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and each and every one were superb. We drank a bottle of Santoroni Sigala white wine and had a wonderful evening enjoying the sea sun and fantastic view of the monastery in Pyrgos.
It may not be the best for a party but for good food great wine this place is a must. The set up is more elegant than most. With a romantic terrace and a comfy hammock. The sun beds are clean. Again not a party beach bar. Bit good food...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst restaurant in Greece. We ordered a mousaka and a safran salad. No one offered us any water or offered us a bread is it is done in the most hospitable restaurants in Greece. They brought us the mousaka and safran salad that had a lot of green leaves and 4 smallest pieces of fish, 10 balls of red caviar on the side of the dish and this was the signature salat in the restaurant😢. The waiter has fulfilled my custom request to bring olive oil and vinegar for the salad because it was simply not on the table. The Safran salad costs 13 euros. The local beer Volkan costs 6.90‼️wchich I find way overpriced. The food was not delicious and absolutely does not worth the price. I told the waiter about my disapointment and he did not charge me for the mousaka. I ate the cold mousaka because we were hungry and in hurry. They do serve the bottled water so do not expect your child to drink free filtered...
