Rey Pablo — Restaurant in Municipality of Vari - Voula - Vouliagmeni

This was my first time coming to this establishment and I had a terrible experience. It was very cold outside, but we saw that the people sitting down had a heater, so we figured we would get one as well. When we sat down the heaters around us were all off, but since we sat for about 10 minutes with nobody greeting us, I figured I will turn it on myself. When they saw me trying to turn the heater on, this was the first time they spoke to us. All they said was “it’s broken.” They then tried to walk away but we asked if the other one by us was working, in which they also said it was broken. We then asked if the bigger one (which was kinda far from us) was working, they said yes and that they will turn it on. They worked on it for about 2 minutes and then walked away. 10 minutes passed again and we asked them if they figured it out because we were very cold. Then they said it doesn’t have any gas. We had to ask them for them to tell us this information. Then we asked if we could just move inside since it has been 30 minutes of us freezing and them not helping us at all as paying customers. They then said we could not go inside because they had a party at 8. It was 4:30. Then another waiter came back and said we could sit down but had to be done eating by 8. At this point I wanted to leave because they did not deserve us as customers. But we had already ordered, and wasted a lot of time there. I got the Black angus tacos and my boyfriend got the black angus burger. his burger was completely raw. I will insert a photo. It was an absolute terrible experience. From the moment we got our food and finally got to a warmer table, they did not check on us once until it was time to pay. Terrible service, terrible establishment. I placed a phone order for self pickup. Ordered a pesto burger cooked medium with a fried egg. Was told to come in 20 minutes, I did.

When I arrived the service greeted me with smiles but I was asked to wait another 5 minutes. (Context: Was not a busy night, 3 tables mainly with drink orders)

They forgot the fried egg but I believe I was charged for it. The burger was cooked medium rare and something did not taste right. On closer inspection I found red powdered spots inside the patty!! Why would you add paprika (I believe and hope it was paprika) to a "100% Black Angus patty" unless you were trying to cover up smell or quality of meat.

TL,DR: Bad burgers from a burger bar....

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience today at Rey Pablo. My wife ordered eggs Benedict, which did not come out in a traditional fashion. They used prosciutto instead of the traditional bacon or Canadian bacon wrapped around, and it was wrapped around the the outside instead of putting the eggs on top of it. The inexcusable part was the fact that it was ice cold. I had a club sandwich which was not exactly a traditional club and a focaccia bread, which was about a day or two past prime so it was a bit stale.
