Sea Satin Athens Riviera — Restaurant in Municipality of Vari - Voula - Vouliagmeni

Sea Satin Athens was a disappointing experience from start to finish. From the moment we sat down, it was clear that our comfort and service were not priorities for the staff. Our table was exposed to the wind, and with only a few heaters scattered throughout the restaurant (roughly one for every 5-6 tables), we were left shivering all evening.

The service was chaotic at best. We arrived at 9:30 pm, placed our order at 10:15 pm, and didn't receive our mains (orzo with beef, langoustine pasta, and grilled chicken) until 11:45 pm. During that time, we had to remind the staff for updates nearly 10 times. Even simple requests, like a drink refill or a napkin, required multiple follow-ups before they were addressed.

When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming—certainly not worth the hour-and-a-half wait. While the ambiance is nice, the entire experience felt more like an attempt to fulfill the owner's vision and maximize profits than to offer guests a genuinely enjoyable evening. By the end, we were so tired of waiting for the bill, shivering in the cold, that we stood by the entrance to settle it.

They asked us to promise we’d give them another chance, but we won’t be returning anytime soon...

An outstanding dining experience at Sea Satin on the Athens Riviera! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all absolutely top-notch.

The highlight of the evening was the perfectly grilled White Grouper (Στείρα), fresh and full of flavor, served with delicious seasonal vegetables. The tuna tartare was refined and delicate, a real standout, while the calamari brought an authentic touch of Greece to the table. To finish, the tiramisu was rich, smooth, and the perfect sweet ending to a flawless meal.

I gave two stars - the first for a beautiful view and the second for my al dente pasta with botarga. From now the stars are finished. Our table was served by seven waiters. Seven! Only from the fourth time they brought me a soda. They brought us a menu and after while nobody came back to take order. Standing and talking, waiters even didn’t notice us. I had to shout in the restaurant in order to be heard. Furthermore the restaurant was empty. So the service there is absent. The food is higher than usual price and 4/5. The menu is primitive.
