Ageri — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Lesvos

This is a real gem that we found while walking in Molivos. The beach is with little stones instead of sand and is only one bed wide but the beds are good and there is a parasol as well.

When we went upstairs to the restaurant came the real surprise. A restaurant run by a very nice family. The food is made and cooked by the elder women and men and the younger ones serve your drinks and food with a smile.

We saw how the stuffed zucchini flowers were made from scratch. No frozen food here, only fresh.

When the sunset starts and you enjoy your meal here it is pure heaven!

Had dinner here a few days ago. One of the dishes we ordered was barbecued octopus which is a standard seafood dish on Lesvos island. The octopus dish we received was utterly unrecognisable, inedible and unpalatable. After complaining to the owner of the restaurant he took it back and offered to cook it again. He took it back to the kitchen and after a while brought it back with little difference to its texture or taste.When the bill came we were still charged 10 euros for it even though this dish was not fit for human consumption and it on was left on plate as it was brought.
