VOLTA by LESVOS — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Lesvos

Our stay in Molyvos almost turned this place into our daily spot. We tried many of the well-known restaurants in town, but we always ended up coming back here and making a reservation every day. It truly became our favorite. Honestly, it’s worth going to Molyvos just for the food here.

The calamari, fried zucchini, tzatziki, grilled shrimp, and sea bass were the best we’ve had on the island. 🤌🏻 The feta croquettes (especially with the tomato jam underneath, such a balanced plate) and the moussaka croquettes were also outstanding. The octopus carpaccio was a real flavor symphony—sweet, salty, tangy, all together creating a perfect umami. The way traditional flavors were reinterpreted was truly impressive. A big round of applause to the chef 👏🏻

Whatever you order from the menu, you’ll leave happy. The view and location are breathtaking. The almond ice cream and desserts served after the meal were also delicious. For service, taste, view, and atmosphere, this place deserves a full score. Just don’t forget to book a table in advance.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at VOLTA by LESVOS and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is tastefully done, creating a cozy yet elegant setting, perfect for any occasion. The food was amazing! Each dish we tried was a delightful blend of flavors, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The menu offers a diverse range of options. It's clear that the chef use only the freshest ingredients, and his passion for taste excellence shines through in every bite. This place really pays attention to detail and customer care. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly to ensure a pleasant dining experience. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness and well-stocked supplies in women's restrooms which had all necessary hygiene products available. Really really great spot in molyvos. Attentive servers who are professional and efficient. Food is absolutely excellent - creative and playful interpretations of classic Greek dishes with a modern twist. The only place I know that whips the feta in the Greek salad (amazing). Grilled sardines were perfection. Lamb was delicious. Prices are great and the view is unbeatable. To top it off they brought halva at the end for dessert - haven't had this in 30+ years, my dear departed mom used to make this for me as a kid. Just an incredible way to end a perfect meal. Bring a light sweater on a chill evening because it can get just a tad windy. Overall they're off to an excellent start.
