Baboukos — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Lesvos

We spent a very nice evening here with delicious food and a great view in a restaurant with a nice old-fashioned feel to it. We ordered 6 mostly vegetarian small dishes to share but did not expect the very generous servings (which is great!), so we could not quite finish everything. The Dolmadakia in particular were outstanding, the Gigantes were also great, the Saganaki came with a sort of jam that was a perfect addition. The prices are very fair for the serving sizes, there was also dessert on the house (joghurt with cherry syrup). We are happy to have come here and definitely...

Good food, but there was a lady - ı m not sure maybe the owner or the supervisor- Who is really rude, not just to us, to other customers as well! I think She had a bad day at the time, or She is too comfortable about business because everwhere was full due to the season! We are there for good food but for atmosphere as well…She damaged that atmospere ! She was rude during she was taking our orders…no need to mention details, you can smell it...But other service guys were very friendlly! Thanks to them ….Octopus is much better only because of service...

We had a dinner last night at this restaurant with 3 kids, wife and granma. All the food that we ordered, in my opnion, were pre-cooked. Because my daughters ordered medium-rare steaks and I ordered grilled octopus. They all came well-done, tasted like rubber. I have been in the food business for many years; you cannot bring well-done steak and grilled octopus so fast. After I paid the bill, I told them what I thought and they said that I was wrong (while looking the other way!). The atmosphere is not so exclussive neither; there were many places...
