Misirlou — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Lesvos

Fabulous Middle Eastern restaurant in Molyvos. They know how to cook/season food here. Everything was delicious. And wonderful views to look at too. My favourite food in Molyvos.

We came here as half our party are vegetarian and this menu has more vegetarian options than a lot of the local Greek restaurants. So wished we had come earlier in the week so we could come here twice, it was that good.

Between us we had the Falafel wraps and a Chicken Caesar salad with some fries on the side. The falafel were a good size and super tasty, and the fries divine and as good as any I’ve ever had. My husband said the Chicken Caesar was the nicest he’d ever had.

The balcony is a wonderful place to sit although it was full when we arrived so we sat in the lower area which was also lovely, so no complaints.

I had the pleasure of dining at Misirlou on several evenings during my stay in Molyvos, and each visit was a highlight. The food is consistently outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the care and creativity in every dish. I especially loved the seafood and vibrant salads made with local ingredients.

The atmosphere is laid-back yet stylish, with a bohemian charm that invites you to relax and stay a while. And the staff? Absolutely wonderful. The waitresses are not only kind and attentive, but also genuinely warm and welcoming.

Misirlou has a totally unique menu, you won't find anything like it in Molyvos! Tapas, top tier steaks, fantastic fish, and a few traditional Greek plates as well, there is something here for everyone. Highlights include the fish and chips, chimichurri bites, and the BEST burgers we've had in Greece!

Also, we have been here so many times this summer the chef/owner remembered my food allergy, and when we came today and ordered, he came out to double check that I hadn't accidentally ordered a pasta dish that is made with cream and butter for myself, rather than for my partner, and to double check for modifications on my plate.
