🌟 Unforgettable Dining at Mistral – A True Molivos Treasure! 🌟
Mistral Restaurant in beautiful Molivos is simply outstanding. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed not just as a guest, but as a friend – and that warmth is thanks in large part to Roula, the amazing owner whose presence brings so much heart and soul to the place.
The setting is picture-perfect, with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and the iconic Molivos Castle. Whether you’re enjoying a romantic dinner at sunset or a relaxed lunch under the sun, the ambiance is magical.
The food? Absolutely divine. Every dish is a celebration of traditional Greek flavors with a fresh, modern touch. We especially loved the grilled octopus, the perfectly prepared shrimps and the incredibly fresh fish of the day. Each plate is beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor.
What truly sets Mistral apart is the sense of hospitality. Roula and her team are exceptional – warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can feel the love and care in every detail, from the kitchen to the service.

We visited Mistral on our first night in Lesbos, and it was a disaster from start to finish. We knew exactly what we wanted and placed our order. A few minutes later, the waiter came back to tell us they didn’t have it—and even suggested we could just leave. At the same time, another waiter brought out our drinks.

No one ever came to ask if the food was okay. The staff just stood by the entrance, unsmiling and unfriendly. When we paid, they didn’t even bother to ask why we had hardly touched our plates.
I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this place. The only thing it has going for it is the...

The host thought that by telling us that most of the customers were British it would persuade us to eat there. My sister ordered a salmon fillet with a dressing on the side...it came as a horseshoe with no dressing....it was tasty though. I ordered beef stifado which should have melted in my mouth but unfortunately I could have made a pair of sandals out of it!! Heard a few other people complaining too. Asked for dry white wine which came as sweet. One of the waiters personal hygiene was very poor and every time he walked past or leant across, I'm afraid to say a good deodorant wouldn't have gone a miss. No one came to ask if our food was OK. Much better places to eat in molyvos....Tropical plantanos was the best restaurant...
