Meltemi Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Lesvos

We went for a pizza at Meltemi Ristorante Pizzeria. We ordered a green salad and two pizzas — one pepperoni and one Greek. The service was efficient, the surroundings were pleasant, and the toilets were clean. However, we were very disappointed with the pizzas. The toppings were bland and tasteless, and most surprisingly, the dough was dry, impossible to cut, and tasted like cardboard. It was honestly the worst pizza we’ve ever had. The chef should consider taking a trip to Naples to learn how to make a proper pizza. We raised our concerns when paying the bill, but unfortunately, the chef’s son responded aggressively. The purpose of making pizza should be to satisfy your customers — not just yourself. If you fail to do that, success is unlikely. Because of this experience, we probably won’t return. Great location, can’t really see the sunset but the views are still good! 2 adults & 2 children dined - as starters, bread & garlic butter was lovely & also the creamy cheese garlic mushrooms. Melon & prosciutto- it is what it is but great portion size. Had lamb special, lamb was so tender! Grilled chicken fillet served with chips & salad - tasted great. Had an great diner at Meltemi. The restaurant is in a very convenient location and offers a great view on the sea. The owners are very friendly, helpful and speak very good English. I would highly recommend this place.

At the time of my first visit the final of the European Championship (football) took place and they were so kind to broadcast it. It was done in a respectful way so that people that did not want to follow the football were not annoyed by it.
