I can’t begin to describe how amazing this place is! I should start with the food, however I will start with people.
This is a family owned and run business. These people poor everything they got into it. The most welcoming, attentive, fun, and friendly people.
Taxia remembered everyone by their first name, she won’t let one person eat at their restaurant without checking on them and greeting them before they leave.
She has this infectious good vibe and high spirit, it’s impossible to remain untouched by it!
I felt like visiting life-long friends.
Giannis, who is the chef, her husband, is an artist. Besides the food being insanely delicious, he gives every plate a very nice composition!
Just look at the sardines in the pic. Poetic!
Now the food: The best olives and bread on the island. Hands down. I stated every dinner with this appetizer at many places in Lesvos. This is the BEST!
One thing you will regret not taking is the Aubergine (eggplant) Divine Dip. No words to describe, better than the name. It really delivers on the promise. When I was done with it I felt like a longing for more while being very happy to have just ate it.
If you like fish/sea food, they make it so damn amazing! I had Swordfish, sardines, octopus and all were a pure pleasure to eat! Delicious!
I don’t want to give more spoilers, just go and check it out. They surprised me every time I ate there!
I can’t recommend...
Read moreHello. Me and my girlfriend was out to spend the last night of our vacation and wanted to have a good night out.
We saw the good reviews and went over tropicana 😁
We met the owner she seemes like a pleasant woman. And she gave us a place “right by the door/line” on a busy night.
We did not have any reservations. And we didnt know we needed one. But people were finishing their meals.
We asked the Younger waitress if we could wait for another table, because the table at the waiting line was kinda stressing! And we wanted to enjoy our last night out. He said we could take another table when they finish.
We changed tables and the older male waitress kept giving us confusing looks.
He came over to change the table cover and asked us in a disrespectfull manner “Are u sure u dont want to change 2nd time?”
I told him that we didnt enjoy sitting in the line. And he said “U didnt make reservations” and i asked if the table was reservated, he said no and he left.
I then walked up and told the owner he was rude. I understand that he is family and all that!
I’m a nice person and i know body language if someone is rude or nice… And he was not being polite in the way he asked if we wanted to switch tables another time. He was being rude.
I’m sorry i had to make this review. Im not gonna review food or athmosphere because it seemed...
