GREEN ZONE snack bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Samos

The best restaurant experience I've had in Samos! This precious spot, just across from the beach is exactly what I was wanting: nutritious options, family-operated, beautiful meals, local ingredients! I asked the owner about an item that wasn't on the menu. He told me to wait just a moment then got on his scooter and zipped down the road to the nearby market. He returned with one portion of the liver I had request and cooked it up, complimenting it with some impromptu sides. It was the best liver steak I've ever had! AVOID! Real shame. We came with a group of six to try this relatively new restaurant out. We ordered the sushi sets and two tuna steaks. The food was great and the service was excellent. Normally, this would’ve warranted a 5 star review. Unfortunately, all of the people that ate the “Tuna Steak” ended up with food poisoning later. It was rather pricey as well.
