Kafénion, traditional greek café — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

I’m giving this review with a heavy heart since I have mixed feelings about this place. The food, fresh natural juices and the cleanliness of this place is outstanding. There was a man and a lady in charge, both kind. However, what I really didn’t like was that the man kicked a dog that was there, and seems to be theirs. I understand that he didn’t want the dog inside the kitchen, but it’s an open kitchen, so what does he expect?! The problem could be easily solved by putting a small fence or something for the dog not to enter the kitchen. In any case, there is no need to kick the dog (or any animal). On top of that, it was a very well behaved dog, and animals deserve respect.

It’s a shame since they even offered us two stuffed vine leaves as a courtesy, as well as a postcard when we paid, but we definitely won’t...

If the rating system at Google maps would allow a hundred stars, I would have given them to this café and Its owner. The young gentleman did his best to make us happy and comfortable. He told us that he grew up in the beautiful white house right next to the café. The café sits right in front of the iconic church of Lefkes. We had cheese sandwich and Greek salads. They were very well made. Vangelis music hummed by the great Greece actress Irene Papas came from the café just added the needed aura to this very authentic Greek experience. Prices are unbelievably inexpensive. If you ever made it to Lefkes, Walk to the church and take a rest at this café and do yourself a favor by trying their food while enjoying your time at Kafenion....

The word lovely barely begins to describe this charming café in Lefkes. With its bright blue shutters, whitewashed walls, and sun-dappled terrace, it looks like something out of a postcard. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming—everything here is made with genuine love and care.

I had the best Greek yogurt of my life, served with honey and walnuts, and the iced coffee was perfectly refreshing under the Cycladic sun. The gentle rustle of vine leaves above and the occasional birdsong added a sense of peace and timelessness.
