We went there because of a recommendation but were truly disappointed. We were there at 6pm. Next to us was one more table who only had drinks and one other table with a group of people who just finished their meal. 3 tables and 4-5 waiters. We had our 1 year old with us and requested a high chair right when we entered but only got it 20 mins after, while watching the waiters talk to each other or smoke. We got our food quite fast but were very irritated. We ordered a beef burger and I asked if it came with a side as it didnât state it on the menu. The waiter said yes, with fries. What I got were 2 burger PATTIES and fries. My husband ordered the smoked pork stake and we wrongly assumed that it would also come with fries or another side but he only got a steak. If thatâs your way of serving a burger, fine for me, but this needs to be specified in the menu, as thatâs not a burger.
Also if I were the owner of the restaurant, I would instruct my staff to ALWAYS tell the guests that a dish has no side, and ask them to order one. Thatâs money left right there and on top you have unhappy customers.
I saw the same happening at the table next to us when we left. A family of 4 got their meals⌠blank chicken filets, no sides.
And yes, of course we could have ordered something more, but I want my side dish with the meal and with the service we had, we didnât want to spend another ⏠in there.
Itâs a shame, as view was great and what we ate was generally also fine but for that price, youâd be happier...
Read moreVisited at a quiet time, 5 adults and 2 children. We heard there's a somewhat strict view on a 2h booking due to the popularity but had no issues. All the food was good or great, Greek cuisine with a more sophisticated approach. Not fine dining experience but well put traditional dishes with excellent quality ingredients and great execution. What really stood out was the lamb ribeye, the osobouko and the saganaki. Least excited about the chicken tacos. The desserts were all great, the opinions of the table got split as it got very subjective - I was very happy with the portokalopita, was very tasty without being heavy, a bit more "discrete" than the usual ones. Not a cheap option but very good value for money, well worth visiting. The service was also great (he convinced us to buy half the menu after all!) and enjoyed the view too. Can easily pair with a visit to the village that's a good choice to check out...
Read moreI loved this place so much, I came here 3 times during one week. (luckily we stayed nearby). The food is absolutely amazing. They have wonderful salads - original recipes and great dressings. They have things I have never tried before in a restaurant, like the fennel pie (đ). The fish and the calamari are to die for. Also: mushrooms and grilled vegetables are incredible. (I have yet to find another restaurant where they make simple vegetable recipes into something so delicious). Oh oh, and the orange pie and the crema catalana are out of this world. I can't recommend this place enough - also the staff are super nice. I can't recommend this place enough, totally worth the trip to Lefkes, no matter where are you staying on the island.
Oh yes - also, the view is great. If you can take your eyes off the...
