Cielo Agia Efimia — Restaurant in Sami Municipality

Cafe Cielo is one of the best experiences on my visit to Agia Efthimia in Kefalonia. The excellent customer service was actually one of the best I’ve encountered. From the welcoming smile the staff and assisting us to order was really helpful. We had a lovely breakfast with crepes and omelettes with local products and the smells and taste was divine. Coffee is absolutely amazing as they use Hausbrant which was full of flavour and texture. We will definitely be visiting again as the whole interior of the store is amazingly designed and gives you a relaxing home feeling atmosphere. Congratulations to the management and staff. 5 star...

Had lunch here and very much enjoyed it, i had the egg and chicken burrito which was very nice. It was 1 o’clock so i assume that one could order from the breakfast menu all day, it was very nice (although if i had to give feedback the burrito and the salad was maybe slightly too oily but it didn’t bother me too much). Someone else from my group had the omelette and it also seemed good value (8€). !!!A plea for future visitors could you please take some pictures of the full menu for google at the time of my visit they were not available on...

Not quite sure why there are so many glowing reviews - the service was pretty slow, the coffee was terrible (verging on the undrinkable!) and food was OK but very expensive for what you got. We'd stopped off for a quick lunch on the way up to Assos but it took ages and cost a fortune. Overall, we can't really recommend this compared to some of the amazing places to eat on the island.
