Bourtzi Skiathos — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

This place has only the view going for itself. If you are hungry DO NOT GO HERE! Cook here fancies himself to be a master chef but the food was absolute garbage and so little of it that it's practically robbery masked as fine dining. I ordered the Iberico pork and I got 5 (five) grams (no exaggeration) of deep fried bacon (the supermarket kind, no iberico pork) masked under 200 g of herbs and cucumber. Even that bacon was so over fried that i almost chipped a tooth so I gave it up alltogether. Spouse ordered chicken tacos and got three mini tacos, about as big as a 3 yo child's palm. Chicken looked like someone chewed it and spat it inside the tacos . Each taco had a squirt of something (presumably yoghurt according to the menu, but I highly doubt it) and that was it. We made the mistake of ordering even the desert beforehand. We got a chocolate mousse. Again we got the cheap market bulk kind of mousse, damped with olive oil and spinkled wity salt, regular kind, don't buy into that "fleur de sal" bs in the meniu. We got a teaspoon full each, got instant sickness and left it as it was. Even that Jack Daniel's glass I ordered was 10 ml Jack and 40 ml water. 100 euros later we left the place to get something to eat. Staff was also made of stuck-up 20 year olds who kept rolling their eyes like they were too good for the job. This is the third place in Skiathos where we eat and are completely disappointed, and we really aren't pretentious people. They ask a lot of money for pig slop. The place is nice with one of the best WC concepts I have ever seen but is overcrowded not a good place to relax ,furthermore there are a lot of spots that are sunny and you can not sit.Always there a que and people waiting in the entrance ,one time we went there and sit the other time we went there and left because there was too much people.Furthermore the Greek coffee is Samba??? That is the first time I heard about that brand is made in beko machines not like the old fashion way and that has an effect on the quality of the coffee that near the end there are small particles of coffees that you can taste and that is bad,Moreover the quantity of a double coffee is not enough!!! Maybe for a single it would be fine but for a double no!The whole concept of the place is not based order,take,next! Anyway the place for the hundred of customers it's serving everyday is runned and managed PRETTY WELL and that's an understatement because it is not easy to have so many satisfied customers.There are too many employees ready to serve you need.Anyways if you want to be with MANY people around you that is an ideal spot a globalised cafe based on the tourist needs if you want other alternative you can find them...

Both my partner and I decided to come here for an evening to have food to celebrate our 5th year anniversary. Like most places in Skiathos, is it very rare that you have to book. On this occasion they said you had to, but the waitress said there were 2 tables available for us to choose from. 1 which was good with a view and the other was near the bar, not so good. As we were being guided by the waitress, another couple came in from another direction and jumped Infront of us to ask for a table for 2 and hadn't booked either. The waitress gave the couple who came in after us the table we were meant to be sitting at with a good view with no explanation leaving my partner and I with no choice but to have the seat at the bar for food. There was no apology from the waitress. I would have thought the waitress would have apologised to the couple who came in after us to say she was serving us first, but there was none of this.
