From the start, the owner, a lady who seemed utterly disinterested in her customers, greeted us with an attitude that bordered on rudeness.
We ordered the calamari, expecting a fresh, generous portion, given its high price. What we received was the complete opposite. The portion was shockingly small, and the squid itself was tasteless, making it nearly impossible to eat. It was bland and completely lacked the flavor and freshness you’d expect from a restaurant right by the sea.
When we politely brought the issue to the owner's attention, she was dismissive and rude, showing no concern for our dissatisfaction. Instead of offering a solution, she made us feel like we were the problem.
This experience left a bad taste in more ways than one. With such poor service and disappointing food, I can’t recommend this place to anyone. There are much better options nearby where you can enjoy a meal without...
Read moreTerrible, terrible experience. Out of the five people in our group, four of us were unhappy with our meals. I ordered the fried squid, and what I received was a ridiculous portion size— barely enough to count as an appetizer, let alone a main course. The squid itself was so thin and overcooked that I could hardly taste it, and there were only a few pieces served alongside some sad-looking French fries.
To make matters worse, the service was absolutely appalling. The lady who served us was rude, arrogant, and clearly not interested in making our dining experience enjoyable. She made us feel uncomfortable from the moment we sat down. She never bothered to ask if the food was to our liking, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested to return the food, she said nothing and only looked more annoyed.
I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal and...
Read moreLovely setting among the trees right outside the Elivi resort; and pretty solid traditional Greek food. Somewhat irritable service, maybe it’s the end of the season and they have had enough but definitely wouldn’t fall into the category we’re so used to on Skiathos. So far would still get 4 stars but woe betide you if you come on a Monday or a Thursday when they have traditional live music. Band quality was actually very good but volume was like insufferable. Multiple times multiple guests asked them to turn down the volume but somehow it wasn’t something they were prepared to consider. We breathed a sigh of relief between songs and braced for the next roar of the Greek guitar (bouzouki for those paying attention). I get that many tavernas have people dancing to loud Greek music, this isn’t that place - it’s more “romantic couples sitting by candlelight vibe” so I don’t...
