Lovely hotel ideally situated in koukounaries the panorama overlooks the lake with tavernas to enjoy in both directions.|The hotel both inside and out is immaculately clean and well run and welcoming on arrival, lovely relaxing pool area with padded loungers, parasols and shaded areas and gardens.|The local bus stops directly outside and runs every 10 minutes to travel either in to town or other resorts.|We stayed b&b which was good, also had lunch a few times which was tasty and reasonably priced.|Rooms.|We stayed in room 16,generous balcony,tv,good ac,safe and fridge. The safe should be placed inside wardrobe as floor level is weird and tricky.|The hotel itself is trying to be boutique style,as reflected in furnishings throughout and is stylish, however the bedroom is boutique style, bed is really soft and squishy, too soft for me personally, however the bathroom is by far the letdown here.|Whilst perfectly functional it is dark, cramped, mouldy mosaic tiles and potentially dangerous for anyone with mobility issues.Toiletries are provided, however not automatically replenished unless you ask.|I have no doubt the management read reviews,I dare say at some point the bathroom would be replaced so hopefully so,it did not spoil our holiday however.|Resort|Koukounaries is spread out and you have to walk alongside the only main road on the island to the local tavernas, around 30 mins in total end to end.4 beaches in walking distance of 10-15 minutes.Agia Eleni slight uphill walk but lovely, Koukounaries superb and totally flat.|Recommended tavernas...Ileas orchard, big bad wolf, cookounaries, best gyros ever under the pine trees.|Skiathos town beautiful and bustling is 20 minutes away on local bus at 3 euro each.|Beautiful island, gorgeous beaches close by and lovely panorama hotel.|Would I...
Read moreThe reason I chose this hotel was that many of the reviews I had previously read stated that people came back to the hotel year after year - I can see why! All in all, the Panorama Hotel totally deserves its excellent rating and I would...
Read moreWe chose this Hotel, as friends of ours were staying there.|Koukounaries is a Beach resort, western tip of the Island.|Numerous Restaurants to choose from, all price ranges.|Panorama is located, 10 mins walk from the main Beach, or a 30 min walk to more secluded Beaches - Elias & Agistros (northern part of the Island).|Welcoming and friendly Staff.|Main Restaurant, Breakfast Buffet Restaurant & Pool.|Food and drink were competitively priced and good quality. Sumptuous Breakfasts, but 'Hot' food was anything but.|Lovely Pool - you had to 'buy' Pool Towels at EURO 10 each - non-refundable. Usual problem, with Towel influencers by 8am, reserving their lounger, but not using them for a few hours!|Room was very spacious - modernised, but the Bathroom was dated. However, there was no Kettle, which was very odd for a 'claimed' 4-Star Hotel.|Overall, pleasant stay. More 3.5 than...
