Golden Beach Skiathos — Hotel in Skiathos Municipality

Already on our arrival the people from golden beach Hotel have been super friendly and accomodating. The room was not super big, but it was more than enough for us. Moreover we had a small but beautiful balcony. Dimitris was always there to help us with everything we needed and answered all of our questions. The pool was also very clean and Good cooling. The food there is also very delicious and if you are there you need to try the Tzatziki, they make the best! Besides you are almost directly next to the beach. One beach is only about 5 min away and two others are around 10-15 minutes away, on one of them you have the best view on the Sunset! Also the Restaurants and bars around there are very beautiful. First impressions were positive. The hotel looked nicer than the photos. It is a traditional, privately owned Greek hotel in a quiet location. Yet only 5 minutes from the beach. Apart from watersports there isn't a lot to do in the area. However the bus to Skiathos stops outside the hotel. This bus runs from early morning to late evening and costs 2 euro. ||Rooms are simple but clean. Note you pay extra for air conditioning. ||Breakfast consisted if ham, cheese, eggs, preserves, bread, cakes and pastries and was plentiful. ||We would recommend the hotels restaurant. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.||Free WiFi is available in communal areas....

This is a Nice little hotel now called Silver Beach hotel which is better than its reputation. Yes it seems a bit old and worn, but the rooms are nice and big, beds are ok but a bit hard, it is clean and the staff is very nice and there to help you at any time. With a few changes this could be a very nice place as the location is very good. We had three rooms for the last week of July at the end of the heat wave in 2023 but with good ac and a nice pool this was not an issue. And to the hotel, please get a card machine in the bar.
