Oionós - Omen — Restaurant in Skopelos Municipality

We arrived at the bar tonight as a group of four, expecting 8 more of our friends. At that point there were only 4-5 customers so it was not busy at all. We waited for 15 mins but no one came to take our order or give us the menu, so we thought it was self service and I went inside the bar to at least grab the menu. There was no greeting.

After another 5-10 mins the barman came to our table to take our order noting that if we wanted cocktails it will take him longer as he was on his own today. And that he prioritises simple drinks and they are easier to make. Worth noting here, he didn’t say he doesn’t accept cocktail orders until at all, just that it will take longer.

We said very politely that we would prefer cocktails but we are fine to wait as long as it takes as anyway we were expecting more company. No pressure. Halfway through our interaction the barman took the order of another couple that had arrived a few minutes earlier (and much later than us). Then the barman turned back to us, and I said what cocktail I wanted. Then utterly rudely yelled at me that he can’t make any cocktails. This was very embarrassing and shocking as we had expressed already we wanted cocktails and we were ok to wait. He never said he wasn’t accepting cocktail orders until the point he stormed off yelling at me in front of the customers and people passing by.

As any sane person would do, we left immediately and thankfully found a lovely place nearby (titiki maki, that I 100% recommend, great cocktails, vibes, music). I would say this behaviour is unacceptable and rather a disgrace. I would suggest avoiding this place by all means....

Great cocktail bar - they have beer, wine and other spirits as well. Amazing music playing - think the owner is a fan of the Beatles and other greats. Just a stone throw away from the touristy street at the harbour - worth...

Wir wollte heute noch einen Drink zu viert nehmen, das Lokal war fast leer. Wir stellten 2 der kleinen Tische zusammen um gemütlich zu sitzen.. Der äußerst unfreundliche Kellner schnauzte uns darauf hin völlig unverhältnismäßig an was wir uns da einbilden uns ohne Rückfrage 2 Tische zusammenzustellen. Er meinte er bräuchte die Tische vielleicht noch. Es war Donnerstag 24. Juni 2021 um0.30h!!!. Ein Tisch von ca. 10 war besetzt. Niemand mehr in den Gassen unterwegs. Hallo.. gehts noch.? Ich denke er sollte froh sein nach der Krise jeden Gast wieder begrüßen zu dürfen und zwar freundlich. Wir können das Lokal bzw das momentane Personal leider...
