Peparithos Restaurant — Restaurant in Skopelos Municipality

A hidden diamond. If this Restaurant was a Spirit it would be an ancient greek God. A fantastic garden with statues and cosy atmosphere. The food is out of competition. Greek recipes combined with local cuisine from Skopelos. Everything that we ate was super delicious and well cooked. The "Kontosouvli" (meat) is maybe the best I have ever eaten in Greece. We could taste and smell every ingredient in the traditional plates. The portions are good and the prices are really cheap in compare with the quality of food. It is difficult to describe how far is the style and cuisine of this semi traditional tavern, compared to the industrial- touristic character that the majority of restaurants adopt in the islands. I dont judge the last ones , I eat there often. On the other hand Peparithos is a food experience that drived us among the characteristics that I love in my country, not so easy to find anymore : simplicity and tradition . Beautiful property and garden ambiance, wonderful service by the family and authentic music and menu options for traditional Greek foods at a great price. Worth the extra effort to find this hidden gem on the ring road just outside the main port town. Super convenient location across from Aperitton Hotel. Early opening hours compared to many places for dinner especially if your stomachhasnt transitioned from a travel time change. 4 pm -12 pm. GOING BACK TOMORROW NIGHT TO TRY MORE OPTIONS! I hope more people try it out...perfect for locals or tourists hoping to eat...

Great little gem of a place. Quite hidden away from the tourist trail. Located higher up the road towards the hills at top end of town. A really welcoming restaurant with great atmosphere. The menu is varied and they do a particular line in charcoal grilled chicken, pork and lamb. Ordered the pork, really succulent and tasty, with baked potatoes in oil was really really tasty. Good honest prices for good honest food without the tourist faff. Would certainly recommend coming here at least once on a stay...
