Sonias Fast Food — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

Yesterday 23rd of August 2025 my family and and I set down to eat Giros and pancake. At first everything was ok, giros was decent, not great, not terible. Somewhere when I eat about 70% of my portion, I found a BUG/BUTERFLY, 2cm long, burned, prepared with the meat. I told to the waiter and gave him the plate, at first I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, bit now I feel sprry for not taking a picture of it. Honesty I was expecting not to pay for the portion, which was 10 euros. When I asked for a check, the girl who brought the check told me she don’t know anything and tjat she need to charge me everything. I didn’t want to accept that, and I entered the place to speak with the manager or the owner. Inside there was an owner, his wife and a daughter who was working as a cashier. The father told me that the bug did not come from the inside, it was probably something from the outside. I told him it is not possible for a roasted bug to be in my plate. They were stricked about it, and they didn’t want to exclude the 10 euros portion from the bill. They turned my back and continued working. I told them ok, I will not pay for anything, and started exiting the place. Then the girl from the cashier started chasing me, grabbing my arm. I turned around and she approached very close to my face. The next thing the did was pushing me. My wife was there, so she pushed her away. Then all the stuff started yelling at us, exiting the kitchen, we were surrounded. The guy who was washing dishes was yelling and wanted to fight me, you pay you pay. I asked him who the F are you?? DO NOT RECCOMEND!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! If there was zero, I would have given it to this sorry place. We were physicaly attacked by the waitress there because we requested not to pay for the plate we returned because we found fried butterfly/bug in the meet! She yelled at my husband and went up to his face and then pushed him with both hands, so I pushed her away and everybody jumped on us at that point. Another guy who was a diswasher (who does not even understand english or what was going on) wanted to fight my husband just so he can prove himself with this people. They were all beyond rude and the behaviour was ignorant, discusting and disrespectful. This should not even be open anymore. But as I see all the newest reviews given, it probably will not be open much longer because they lost the control. The personal was very rude and incorrect. I have asked the price for gyros and order one. Waited a lot for it inside (to take it away) because the guy prepared first for someone else who ordered after us, and then they said a price, and charged for more! POS not working so to work only with cash. I did not agree to pay more than he just said and they started a big and loud discussion to pay or give the gyros back and leave, instead of accepted the price that they asked for the gyros from every customer.
