Amazing Food and Exceptional Service – A Must-Visit in Zante!

We had the pleasure of dining at Bullhorn Steakhouse this evening as a family of six during our week-long holiday in Zante, and it was an absolute delight! First things first, the food was outstanding! Ignore any negative reviews, because they must be talking about a different place—this restaurant is incredible.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, going above and beyond to ensure everyone in the restaurant had a great experience. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, but I’ll focus on my own for this review.

I started with the fried calamari served with garlic mayonnaise, and it was simply divine. The portion size was generous, and the flavor was spot-on—crispy and tender at the same time.

For my main course, I chose the Black Angus Picanha Steak, served with potato wedges and a side salad. I always order my steak blue, and once again, Bullhorn didn’t disappoint. The steak was perfectly seared and cooked exactly how I like it. The wedges were a perfect complement to the meal. I also added the Surf option, which came with two beautifully cooked, whole-shell King prawns—an amazing addition that elevated the dish even further.

To finish, I indulged in the chocolate brownie with a side of ice cream. I was too eager to take a picture before diving in, but trust me, it was delicious!

As a delightful surprise, after dessert, our waiter brought over complimentary Limoncello shots—such a thoughtful touch that really added to the experience.

The restaurant itself was clean, modern, and created a lovely atmosphere for dinner. We arrived early, so it wasn’t too busy at first, but it started to fill up as we were settling the bill. Despite that, the service remained top-notch.

Before we left, the waiter surprised us again by gifting us a small 50ml bottle of Limoncello to take home, which we absolutely loved.

We enjoyed our experience so much that we’re already planning to return tomorrow for our final night in Zante to try more of their fantastic dishes.

Review date 31/08/2024 Back again. This time as usual did not have starter and went straight for the main course. This time we had the beef risotto and the sirloin steak with pepper sauce. Unfortunately the steak was not nice and did not even look like a sirloin. The beef risotto was very salty. Service was good as usual along with the wine. A bit of a shame really as all other meals have been good when we have eaten here.

Review date 19/08/2024 Again we went straight for the main course where we ordered the pork kebab and the beef rib. For wine we went for a bottle of wine. As usual we we given bread stick and dip to start. Main courses were as expected very good. Service was also a god as ever. Will be back

Review date September 2023 Review date Back again for a second time as we enjoyed our last meal here, staff are great.

Again we did not bother with a starter as they bring a complementary appetiser which is more than enough to get you in the mood.

For the mains this time I had the Rib Eye Stake with the dark garlic and mushroom sauce. Really good and did not disappoint. Wife had the Lamb Kebabs stuffed with cheese again was great.

We had the 5 season Merlot red wine which worked really well with this meal.

Again Did not bother with desert as they give you a complementary lemon cheese cake and lemonchillo shot which is more than enough to finish of your meal. However I did have an Irish coffee.

This place is amazing!!!! We’ve been coming to Kalamaki for three years now and for some reason we’ve never been in here before. This year I wanted to try something new and I’m ecstatic my and my partner visited Bullhorn Steak House. We were seated immediately and service was great, the staff were very welcoming and up for a conversation. We ordered our food from a huge menu and once that was sorted the drinks arrived straight away. The staff brought over a small starter on the house which was a nice surprise. We ordered a starter ourselves which was the Grilled Feta and Honey (I didn’t get a picture of it because I was too amazed by the presentation and couldn’t wait to dig in) Afterwards I had the Tuna Steak and my partner had the Butchers Steak. At the end they gave us a trifle on the house too which was difficult to eat after the amount of food we had just eaten. If you’re a meat lover or a big eater then go here as it’s one of the best restaurants in Kalamaki. We also had some shots at the end on the house!!

My partner thanked the staff at the end of the day as we were too full to go anywhere else for drinks we had to go to back to the hotel which saved us 40 euros
